Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle Telefonmehrwertdienste e.V. (FST)

The association FST was established in Düsseldorf in 1997. As a stakeholder of the German Value Added Services (VAS) industry, the entity pursues the implementation of a standard code of conduct in this industry to prevent fraudulent use of VAS and also exercises influence on the design of the political and legal framework the industry is restricted by.

 

About 40 service providers, network operators, agencies, associations and other organisations, have already joined the FST e.V. The cumulative experience and know how represents the nucleus of the German VAS-industry. The common goal of all FST members is to safeguard the market in the long term, as well as its potential for development, and to avert damage to the market or its image.

Annual member fee

Annual costs depend on the sales volume in the German market in the range of value added services:

 

Step 1                              0 - 5 Mil. EUR                    2.000 EUR p a.

Step 2                         > 5 - 10 Mil. EUR                    3.000 EUR p a.

Step 3                         > 10 - 25 Mil. EUR                  5.000 EUR p a.

Step 4                         > 25 - 50 Mil.   EUR                7.500 EUR p a.

Step 5                         > 50 - 100 Mil. EUR                10.000 EUR p a.

Step 6                         > 100 Mil. EUR                       15.000 EUR p.a.
